Keystone Mission is committed to respecting donor privacy. In furtherance of this commitment, Keystone Mission has developed this policy to inform and guide our personnel on how personal information may and may not be used. This policy may be updated as required.
Keystone Mission collects and securely maintains the following types of personal information:
- Contact information: name, organization/church, complete address, phone number, email address
- Donation records: giving history
- Related demographic information and communication status
- Credit card number and expiration date for new donations are used only once to complete the transaction, then any paper records are destroyed.
SHARING PERSONAL INFORMATION
Keystone Mission does not rent, lease, sell or share personal information to other organizations or third parties. The identity of all donors is kept confidential and the use of personal information is limited to the internal use of Keystone Mission unless permission is expressly given by the donor.
HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Keystone Mission uses personal information to better understand donor needs and to provide better service. Specifically, Keystone Mission uses personal information to help complete transactions and communicate about ministry happenings. Keystone Mission may also disclose personal information as required for compliance with applicable legal requirements and standards.
SECURITY OF INFORMATION
Keystone Mission maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect personal information and to prevent unauthorized disclosure or access to personal information. Only authorized personnel have access to such information and only for appropriate business purposes. Credit card information is used for donation processing only and is not for any other purposes. Any ongoing credit card and EFT information is held by PCI compliant third parties.
