EVERY STORY MATTERS

TRANSFORMING LIVES IN NORTHEAST PA

We want you to meet Angela! She came to the mission broken and in need of help. Today, we are excited to share, Angela has her own apartment and is working at a local hospital. Her story inspires many because she confronted her challenge head-on and did not allow it to stop her. Angela continues to seek transformation in her life as she embarks on this new journey.

In the picture, Angela is standing in the middle, to her right is Lasha our Vocational Specialist, and to her left is Kathy, the Program Director. On this day Angela came by the organization to pick up a bike that will help her travel back and forth to work. She had one of the biggest smiles on her face because of the steps she took to better herself.

Contributed by: Stephen Mocarsky, Citizen’s Voice Homeless individuals are a relatively miniscule segment of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s population, but their votes will still count in the Nov. 5 election, and many are reportedly enthusiastic about casting a ballot. “It’s just a basic human right.
