SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE, PA—Keystone Mission is preparing to provide a Thanksgiving ‘to go’ meal to men and women experiencing homelessness in the Scranton and Wilkes-Barre community on Thanksgiving Day. Generous partners, individuals, church groups, and businesses from Scranton and Wilkes-Barre contributed to the meals.
A force of volunteers will meet at the Scranton location to package the meals, and then half of the meals will be sent to Wilkes-Barre for staff and volunteers to hand out. The meals will be given out at Keystone Mission Day Center on West Olive Street, and at Public Square Park in Wilkes-Barre, on Thursday, November 25 at 1:00 p.m.
