Keystone Mission to Host 2024 “Under the Stars” Gala

In order to celebrate the many accomplishments of the faith-based 501(c)(3) organization, Keystone Mission is hosting their 2024 gala at Fiorelli’s Catering in Peckville on Sunday, September 29th. This event will showcase local high school quartet, offer a delicious dinner-buffet, and highlight the many hands of the Mission that made this year a success.

In the last year we served over 21,600 guests through shelter, meals, emergency services, and trainings programs while supporting over 20 homeless veterans in the last six months.

In October 2023, Keystone Mission opened their Wilkes-Barre Innovation Center for Homelessness & Poverty, expanding day services to the homeless population in Luzerne County. In April 2024, Keystone Mission began a community garden in their Scranton location as part of their Pathfinder’s vocational program. This program engaged guests, staff, volunteers, and local businesses to plan, plant, and reap a harvest of nearly 100 vegetables and herbs.

In June 2024, through Wilkes-Barre City funding, Keystone Mission opened the city’s first 365-Overnight Shelter that provides 50 beds for men and women who may otherwise remain unsheltered during the year.

Tickets can be purchased on their website at 2024 Gala – Keystone Mission. Support from the gala will directly impact the lives of the men and women experiencing homelessness in Northeast PA.

We’d love to thank our generous sponsors and partners: PDQ, Cumulus, Audacy, First National Bank, Pyramid HealthCare, and Deluxe Detail of Scranton.
