Keystone Mission is in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. HOPE is found HERE!

A New opportunity:
beth-ann's Volunteer Story

Every Friday, Beth-Ann greets the Scranton Innovation Center guests, assisting them in different resource areas, and making sure everyone can get their laundry done for the day.

Over the past few months, Beth-Ann has found a new purpose at Keystone Mission. Prior to coming to our Scranton Innovation Center, she admitted her disability made it difficult to find volunteer work.

“Everyone is really friendly here, and [staff] have always been accommodating.”

Through many guest interactions, she is eager to lend a listening ear and discover each guests’ personality as they open up to her. Beth-Ann says her favorite part is being in the dayroom in the midst of hustle and conversations.

Her encouragement to others when considering Keystone Mission as a volunteer opportunity is this: “There is opportunity here for every skill set and always a lot to do. You don’t have to worry about keeping busy!”

VOLUNTEERS ARE CRUCIAL TO AIDING THE MISSION OF TRANSFORMING LIVES SPIRITUALLY, MENTALLY, AND PHYSICALLY.
